Essential qualification and/or experience
i) Master degree in Library Science/ information science / Documentation with at last 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
ii) At least thirteen years as Deputy Librarian in a university or eighteen years experience as a college Librarian
ii) Evidence of innovative library service and organizationof published work
Desirable: M.Phil/ PhD degree in library science/ Information science/ Documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping
Note: API score and other conditions as per UGC regulation,2010 as amendment for time to time.

i) Deputy Librarian completing service of three years into AGP of Rs.9000 and otherwise eligible as per the API scoring system and PBAS methodology developed in UGC regulating, 2010 with a Ph.D. qualification read with UGC regulation 2016, 4th amendment dated 11.07.2016Note: API score and other conditions as per UGC regulation,2010 as amendment for time to time.
