Educational qualification and experience
Essential- A Master Degree in Library science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an Assistant Librarian in a University/ Educational & Research Institute/ State or Central Government Libraries or equivalent.
- Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
- M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscript/Computerization of library
